If you’re interested in one of the trophies for sale in the gallery, please contact me so we can work out the payment and shipping details. If you’d rather have me making a custom dragon, contact me as well and describe what you would like. If you have a picture (even if it’s a rough sketch) of your idea, then all the better! I don’t charge for quoting, so don’t hesitate to send me a message using the contact form or by using your preferred social network.
I cannot begin working on a commission until the payment has been cleared (this includes sketches). I will send you an invoice once we’ve agreed on everything through email and/or post, and then you’ll have 5 working days to send the payment. If you do not pay in time and/or ignore the invoice, our agreement will be void and I will move on. My preferred method is Paypal, as it’s the safest option for both parties. Please note that I do not accept credit card payments even through Paypal (debit cards are OK though). I also accept bank transfer as long as it’s a Faster Payment Service (sorry, but otherwise I’d be vulnerable to scams -it’s happened before-).
Once it’s paid for and we’ve agreed on the specifics of the trophy you want, I will start working on it right away. I will keep you updated throughout the progress with messages and photos. Please note that depending on the complexity of the project, it can take between 3 and 6 weeks to complete a single trophy. You will be provided with an estimated waiting time, but it’s not a hard deadline, as unexpected things can happen. Please bear this in mind and be patient.
Short version: regular shipping cost is £12.98, plus a £10 flat rate for the packing. To insure a piece up to £600 of damage or loss with Parcelforce, it would be £19.80, so the grand total with full insurance would be £42.78 (VAT included), or £22.98 with insurance up to £100 of damage/loss. I do NOT ship outside mainland UK unless you’re ready to pay couriers a lot of money!
Extended: The cost of the shipping is not included in the price of the dragons. All trophies will be sent in a custom made double-walled shock-resistant cardboard box reinforced with an internal wooden structure. They will be properly secured to the box and will have plenty of padding on the sides. The packing cost is a £10 flat fee. Parcels will be delivered by Parcelforce 48h, tracked, signed for, and insured up to £100 of damage. This service costs £12.98 including VAT. If you wish to extend the insurance, they charge £1.80 including VAT for the first extra £100 and £4.50 including VAT for every subsequent £100. They also offer saturday delivery service for £7.50+VAT. It’s up to the buyer to choose what he or she wants to pay for, as I am not responsible for what happens to the parcel once it’s picked up by the courier.
I am based in Glasgow, UK, and normally I ship to mainland Britain (sorry, Channel Islands!). I *could* ship internationally, but the average cost ranges between £80 and £100 without insurance. If you’re OK with that, let me know and we’ll see what we can arrange. If you’d like to check if you can find a courier that delivers to your place and want a quote, the dimension of the parcel is 61cmx61cmx61cm, its real weight is 5kg and its volumetric weight is 45.12kg. Don’t forget the packing fee is £10. Let me know if you find something affordable! If you’re still interested, please get in touch and we’ll see if we can work something out to get a trophy sent to your place.
When you buy a trophy that you didn’t commission, you are entitled to return it within 7 days upon receiving it, according to UK Consumer Protection (distance selling) Regulations. However, if you’ve had something custom made for you, you don’t have the right to ask for a refund. A buyer who wishes to return a trophy will have to cover the postage cost plus the initial postal charges (this will be deducted from the refund). It must be sent through a courier in its original condition and with all relevant original documentation, in its original packaging, within 14 days of receipt. On returning the trophy, you should make sure that the artwork should be sent with proof of postage, proof of receipt and adequate insurance so that matters of loss or damage can be dealt with separately. Please ensure you keep all receipts. Once I receive the trophy, I will refund the money back to the buyer within 14 days only if the trophy is in the same condition as it was when it was first sent.
Also please note that Paypal does NOT cover buyers when the item in question is a custom-made item.
If you’ve changed your mind about a commission you’ve already paid for, you need to contact me and let me know as soon as possible. I accept cancellations depending on how far into the project I am. If I’m still making the core pieces, I’ll keep a 15% fee (excluding shipping cost) and refund the rest of the money. If I’ve already begun to put it together, I’ll keep a 20% fee (excluding shipping cost) and refund the rest of the money. If it’s attached to the shield, I’ll keep a 30% fee (excluding shipping cost) and refund the rest of the money. If it’s already got some features and/or I’ve already begun working on the skin and/or scales, I won’t accept returns anymore.
With that said, I reserve the right to change the above terms depending on the project. If it’s something salvageable, chances are you could still get a refund even if it’s almost finished. If it’s something very unique and unusual, I probably won’t accept cancellations from the start. I also reserve the right to sell something I have created from a commissioner’s sketch if the order has been cancelled.
An old steel dragon hailing from another plane. She's been living among humans for a while now, learning about them and using her artistic talent to make recreations of relevant draconic figures from her homeland. Her aim is to teach humans about her kin and learn about them in return.
